Purpose: To notify the acquisition workforce of the order of succession to the Executive Director, Office of Procurement, and Senior Procurement Executive.

Effective Date: Immediately.

Background: A memorandum was recently signed that establishes an order of succession.

In the absence of the Executive Director, Office of Procurement, and Senior Procurement Executive, the senior officials, in the order listed below, will fulfill the responsibilities of the Executive Director, Office of Procurement, and Senior Procurement Executive, in an acting capacity.

• a. Deputy Senior Procurement Executive

• b. Executive Director, Procurement Operations.

Applicability: This Acquisition Policy Flash applies VA-wide.

Action Required: VA contracting officers should be aware of the order of succession memorandum.
