Veterans’ Advisory Committee on Rehabilitation

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) gives notice under the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. Ch. 10, that a meeting for the Veterans’ Advisory Committee on Rehabilitation (hereinafter the Committee) will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams.

The purpose of the Committee is to advise the Secretary of Veterans Affairs on the rehabilitation needs of Veterans with disabilities and the administration of VA’s rehabilitation programs.

The purpose of the Committee is to advise the Secretary of Veterans Affairs on the rehabilitation needs of Veterans with disabilities and the administration of VA’s rehabilitation programs.

Advisory Committee on Former Prisoners of War

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) gives notice under the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. ch. 10., that the Advisory Committee on Former Prisoners of War (Committee) will conduct a virtual meeting via the Webex platform.

The purpose of the Committee is to advise the Secretary of Veterans Affairs on the administration of benefits under title 38 U.S.C., for Veterans who are former prisoners of war and the needs of these Veterans, in the areas of compensation, health care, and rehabilitation.

Health Systems Research Scientific Merit Review Board

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) gives notice under the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. 10, that a meeting of the Health Systems Research (HSR) Scientific Merit Review Board will be held virtually via Webex.

The objective of the Board is to provide for the fair and equitable selection of the most meritorious research projects for support by VA research funds and to offer advice for research program officials on program priorities and policies. The ultimate objective of the Board is to ensure through recommendations the high quality and mission relevance of VA’s legislatively mandated Health Systems Research Program.

Advisory Committee on Tribal and Indian Affairs

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) gives notice under the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. Ch. 10., that the Advisory Committee on Tribal and Indian Affairs will meet at the U.S. Army Museum of Hawaii, Museum Classroom, 2131 Kalia Rd, Honolulu, HI 96815.

The purpose of the Committee is to advise the Secretary on all matters relating to Indian tribes, tribal organizations, Native Hawaiian organizations, and Native American Veterans.

Advisory Committee on Disability Compensation

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) gives notice under the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. Ch. 10, that the Advisory Committee on Disability Compensation (Committee) will hold virtual meeting sessions via Microsoft Teams.

The purpose of the Committee is to advise the Secretary of Veterans Affairs on the maintenance and periodic readjustment of the VA Schedule for Rating Disabilities (VASRD). The Committee is to assemble and review relevant information relating to the nature and character of disabilities arising during service in the Armed Forces, provide an ongoing assessment of the effectiveness of the rating schedule, and give advice on the most appropriate means of responding to the needs of Veterans relating to disability compensation.
