Consulting Support Service
Introduction
The Consulting Support Service (CSS), established in 1994, provides a range of technical, architectural, and engineering services to all VA facilities and projects. Staffed by highly trained and registered architects and engineers recognized as subject matter experts in healthcare, CSS collaborates with code officials, manufacturers, and other professionals to offer consultation in areas such as architecture, engineering, building commissioning, sustainable design, and safety. CSS serves a variety of facilities, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, and more, across all VISNs at no fee to VA stakeholders.
