Celebrating Success Resources
The SSVF Program Office in partnership with Homeless Programs Office continually seeks ways to illustrate how vital SSVF is to ending Veteran Homelessness and helping Veterans and their families live independent, stable lives through lean, cost-effective interventions.
Success stories from SSVF grantees and Veterans who have been service by SSVF can spread awareness about the program and promote its track record of getting Veterans back on their feet while serving as a positive force in local communities. Success stories may be shared on the VA blog platform, VA News.
Storytelling & Interviews
The Homeless Programs Office has developed an interview guide providing a framework and helpful questions to ensure consistency when interviewing Veterans. Additional questions may be added depending on the story’s focus/the Veteran’s lived experience.
