Strategic Acquisition Center

About the center

The Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC) is a high-impact acquisitions organization that serves VA program offices and other federal agencies. We deliver cost-effective acquisition and business solutions through strategic contracting approaches that maximize value and efficiency. Our expertise enables multiple agencies to leverage our contracts, creating economies of scale and streamlined procurement processes.

Central to our mission, the SAC embraces the VA’s core I-CARE values of Integrity, Commitment, Advocacy, Respect, and Excellence. These values guide our day-to-day operations, ensuring we put Veterans first and maintain the highest standards of integrity and excellence in federal contracting. By recruiting a highly qualified workforce and fostering a collaborative environment with industry partners, the SAC remains committed to improving acquisition delivery while upholding the trust and confidence of those we serve.

Acquisition opportunities

The SAC believes having a strong relationship with our industry partners is key to success. Having constructive, open dialogue with industry at the appropriate time enables information sharing and enhances the quality of requirements delivered by acquisition centers.

This forecast tool represents the SAC’s best estimate of procurement opportunities during the current fiscal year. The information is published for planning purposes only and is not an invitation for bids, a request for proposals, or a commitment by VA to purchase products or services. Each acquisition is based on the best information available at the time of publication and may be revised or canceled.

SAM.gov contract opportunities is the Federal Government’s website for posting Federal procurement opportunities and pre- and post-award notices for applicable contract requirements.
