Center for Faith

The VA Center for Faith serves as a force multiplier, building cross-sector partnerships with houses of worship, faith-based organizations, and state and local governments to strengthen coordinated support and expand Veterans’ access to resources.

Through our national network of Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) and our National Cemetery Administration (NCA), and faith-based partners we provide resources, tools and educational opportunities, focused on putting Veterans first.

President Donald Trump signed Executive Order 14205 on February 7, 2025, establishing the White House Faith Office within the Executive Office of the President to assist faith-based entities, community organizations, and houses of worship in their efforts to strengthen American families, promote work and self-sufficiency, and protect religious liberty.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs established in 2004 continues its work as the Center for Faith in response to the historic Executive Order that recognized the essential role of faith-based organizations in our nation.
