Mrs. Marie Vulaj serves as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Intergovernmental Affairs at the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she strengthens government partnerships and facilitates collaboration between the VA and the White House, as well as State, County, municipal, Tribal, Insular, and International governments, along with Rural and Faith-Based Communities.
With over 17 years of executive experience in the political and nonprofit sectors, she previously held the role of Senior Vice President of Partnerships and Engagement at the American Legislative Exchange Council. In that capacity, she led strategic legislative outreach and stakeholder engagement initiatives, successfully expanding a national network of lawmakers and advocates.
