Mr. Logue serves as Senior Advisor to the Principal Executive Director and Chief Acquisition Officer at the Office of Acquisition, Logistics, and Construction (OALC), which oversees the VA’s $65 billion annual procurement, nearly $100 billion in major acquisition programs, and $22 billion in construction and leasing with a 17,000-person workforce serving over 9 million Veterans.
He advises on enterprise transformation, acquisition modernization, industrial base resilience, and the implementation of Administration priorities related to procurement, program management, artificial intelligence integration, and cross-government initiatives.
He specializes in removing institutional barriers and aligning government and industry to accelerate high-priority national initiatives. His portfolio includes establishing Program Executive Offices and governance under the Acquisition Reform and Cost Assessment Act; strengthening domestic industrial capacity and supply chain resilience for critical medical products; strategic sourcing; and AI-enabled modernization to improve decision-making and operational effectiveness. He represents OALC in interagency coordination with key government offices.
Previously, Mr. Logue served at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center as Section Chief and Supervisory Procuring Contracting Officer for the KC-46 Division, managing a $2 billion portfolio. He led production, modernization, and sustainment efforts for various weapon systems and served as Co-Chair of the Source Selection Evaluation Board for Foreign Military Sales.
A Marine combat veteran, Mr. Logue served in Iraq in 2005, where his battalion sustained significant combat losses and received various honors, including the Combat Action Ribbon. He is a twice-elected Trustee of Union Township, Ohio, overseeing an $80 million budget for 55,000 residents. He founded the Combat Veterans Club at Ohio University, raising over $300,000 for the university’s Veterans Center, and established Veteran Kinnection to support transitioning Veterans. He has also supported multiple veteran-related organizations, founded a Bible study and leadership ministry, and maintained an active Top Secret/SCI clearance. He and his wife, Kristin, have three children, and he coaches youth sports. He holds Level II Certification in Contracting and is an FAA-certificated Airline Transport Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor.
