Federal law requires VA to make all medical and dental provider payments electronically.

Who issues payment

If your claim is approved, payments are issued by the entity to which you submitted a claim.

If you have questions about a specific claim, contact the claims processing entity listed on your Explanation of Payment (EOP). They can provide guidance on the steps you need to correct your claim.

How to receive payments

Community care providers must enroll in Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to receive payment from VA. Payments are deposited directly into your bank account.

To enroll in EFT or update existing payment information, complete VA Form 10091, VA-FSC Vendor File Request Form, through the VA Financial Services Center Customer Engagement Portal.
