The biannual conference took place July 16-18, 2024, in Portland, Oregon.
The 2024 VA/DOD Suicide Prevention Conference:
- Garnered 2,400+ total registrants, an increase from 1,500 for the previous conference
- Brought together close to 2,000 attendees
- Presented more than 200 breakout sessions
- Showcased over 40 exhibitors
- Offered 19.5 continuing education credits
- Provided eight wellness activities, including the wear blue: run to remember 1-miler
- Hosted one fireside chat with VA or DOD peers.
