Lisa Rosenmerkel was appointed Deputy Executive Director, Data Governance and Analytics in the Office of Enterprise Integration on September 25, 2022. She is responsible for driving the development of the infrastructure and foundational capabilities in support of the Department’s Chief Data Officer. Lisa collaborates with cross-Departmental partners in data governance, ensuring data quality and developing joint requirements and standards. She promotes the use of government and industry leading data management technologies and leading analytic strategies to support performance management and advance the Department and best meet the needs of our nation’s Veterans.
Prior to joining the Department of Veterans Affairs, Lisa supported the Treasury deployment of the American Rescue Plan, distributing more than $240 billion to state, local, and Tribal governments across the country to support their response to and recovery from the COVID-19 public health emergency. During her time with the Internal Revenue Service, Lisa focused on leveraging data and cutting-edge analytic tools to inform program and policy evaluation.
Lisa received the OPM Presidential Management Fellow Mentor of the Year Award in 2019. Lisa is a graduate of the 2020/2021 Treasury SES Candidate Development Program.
