Veterans Integrated Service Networks

The Department of Veterans Affairs comprises 18 Veterans Integrated Service Networks or VISNs — regional care systems working together to better meet local healthcare needs and provide greater access to care.

  • VISN 01

    Includes Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

  • VISN 02

    Includes New York and New Jersey.

  • VISN 04

    Includes portions of Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

  • VISN 05

    Includes portions of the District of Columbia, Maryland, West Virginia, northern Virginia, and counties in Kentucky, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

  • VISN 06

    All of North Carolina and most of Virginia.

  • VISN 07

    Includes portions of Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina.

  • VISN 08

    Includes portions of Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

  • VISN 09

    Includes portions of Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Virginia.

  • VISN 10

    Includes portions of Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio.

  • VISN 12

    VA Great Lakes Health Care System, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 12, serves Veterans who reside in Illinois, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Wisconsin, and northwestern Indiana.

  • VISN 15

    Includes portions of Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, and Missouri.

  • VISN 16

    Includes portions of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.

  • VISN 17

    Includes most of Texas and portions of New Mexico and Oklahoma.

  • VISN 19

    VISN 19 serves an area covering the states of Colorado, Montana, Oklahoma, Utah, Wyoming, and portions of Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, Nevada and Texas.

  • VISN 20

    Includes portions of Alaska, California, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.

  • VISN 21

    Includes portions of American Samoa, California, Guam, Hawaii, Nevada, Northern Mariana Islands, and the Philippines.

  • VISN 22

    Includes portions of Arizona, California, Colorado, and New Mexico.

  • VISN 23

    Includes portions of Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
