Peter Scott Vicaire is the Tribal Government Relations Specialist for the Central Region covering the following states: Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Michigan. He also covers the following states in the North Eastern Region: New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, and Massachusetts.

Peter Scott Vicaire is a member of the Listuguj Mi’gmaq First Nation in Quebec, Canada, where he was raised. He is also a former U.S. Marine, honorably discharged as a sergeant after serving with the 8th & I Presidential Honor Guard in Washington D.C. and as an infantry squad leader with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines. He has both American (Michigan State University) and Canadian (University of Ottawa) law degrees, with a specialization in indigenous law, and is licensed to practice in New York and Minnesota. He also has a master’s degree in military studies from the American Military University. He is married and has two children.
