Elaine Saiz was appointed as the Executive Director of the Office of Performance Analysis and Integrity on April 25, 2022. She is responsible for the executive leadership in the development of comprehensive business intelligence, performance and outcome measurement related to the delivery of benefits and the transformation of business processes. She directs an organization that delivers integrated, outcome focused, business intelligence to support informed corporate-level decisions and workload forecasting.
Saiz brings over 20 years of federal regulatory experience working with commercial lending and tribal programs ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate financial reporting. She completed the Department of Commerce’s Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program.
rior to joining the VBA, she was the Division Chief of the Financial Services Division at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Service overseeing more than $750 million in commercial loan programs, financial services and claims. Saiz was previously the Director of Contracts and Investigations at the Department of the Interior’s National Indian Gaming Commission leading three nationwide regulatory programs for the $26 billion gaming industry.
