Dr. Aaron M. Lee currently serves as Executive Director for the Office of Human Capital Services. He is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of the employee life cycle, providing excellent customized services to meet each employee’s unique needs along every stage of the journey.

Dr. Lee previously served as Executive Director for the Office of Strategic Initiatives and Collaboration, Interim Executive Director of the Office of Transition & Economic Development, Interim Executive Director & Chief Learning Officer for VBA, and Director of Leadership & Organizational Development for VBA, where he managed VBA’s National and Local Leadership Development Programs as well as VBA’s Mandatory Supervisor and Management Training Courses.

He began his VA career in 2003 as a Human Resource (HR) Specialist for HR Training and Development and, later joined the Office of Employee Relations and Performance Management (ER&PM) as a Team Lead/Senior HR Specialist, where he created and developed National HR training curriculum and programs. Prior to joining VA, Dr. Lee served as an International Organizational Development consultant with Swift Inc, the Director of HR and Training for a private Hospital Rehabilitation Facility, and a Senior Human Capital Consultant with Arthur Andersen, LLC.

Dr. Lee holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership & Organizational Change Psychology from Walden University, a Master of Education in HR & Organizational Development from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature & Language from the University of Virginia.
