Carmen Drummond currently serves as the Senior Program Manager and National Minority Veteran Program Manager at the Center for Minority Veterans. Since her appointment in May 2022, she has led the Minority Veteran Program focusing on effective outreach, engagement, access, equity, and advocacy for minority Veterans. Her role capitalizes on her extensive education, including a graduate certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from the University of Southern Florida and a Qualified Inclusive Leader Certification from HRCI. Carmen’s approach, informed by her personal challenges post-military service, is integral to her efforts in addressing Veteran unemployment and enhancing Veteran services. An Army Veteran herself, her dedication to equity, access, advocacy, and awareness for Veteran issues is evident in her innovative and technological approaches. Carmen’s commitment to rectifying workplace and social injustices is both inspiring and invaluable to the Veteran community.
