
Carmen Drummond serves as the National Program Manager & Senior Program Analyst at the Center for Minority Veterans. Since her appointment in 2022, she has led national outreach, engagement, and advocacy efforts to ensure all Veterans have access to the benefits and resources they’ve earned.
Through her work, she identifies challenges, develops strategic approaches, and fosters collaboration among agency and community stakeholders. Carmen leads national training for over 450 Minority Veteran Program Coordinators (MVPCs) across the VA enterprise. Through this program she strengthens partnerships with Veteran service and community organizations to implement data-driven strategies that improve service delivery and outcome for Veterans, family members, caregivers, and survivors.
A trusted leader in Veteran advocacy, she builds strong coalitions across government, community, and service organizations, ensuring effective communication and impact. Under her leadership, the Minority Veteran Program continues to enhance access, eliminate barriers, and advance VA’s commitment to serving all Veterans.
