
Ms. Charlotte Boggess was appointed Executive Director for the Enterprise Program Integration Office on January 13, 2025. In this role, Charlotte leads the integration of critical resources, policies, and systems for high-priority initiatives across the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to improve the delivery of care and benefits for Veterans and their families.
Prior to joining VA, she led the creation of the Future of Work program for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and was awarded the Leading People Award from the Deputy Under Secretary for Management for her work in this area. Also at DHS, Ms. Boggess advised and supported the DHS Deputy Secretary in his role as Chief Operating Officer, and in furtherance of the DHS Secretary’s priorities, maintaining oversight of the Department’s $56.7 billion-dollar discretionary budget. She was awarded a Commendation by the Deputy Secretary for her work. Most of her government service has been with the U.S. Secret Service (USSS), culminating with her position as the Policy Chief for the agency where she created and led the first government-wide Law Enforcement Policy Community of Interest and facilitated quarterly events involving 15 law enforcement agencies across the government, as well as local law enforcement entities. As Chief of Staff for the USSS Office of Strategic Planning and Policy, she increased Directorate staff by 45%, using a variety of alternative methods to the normal hiring process to enable the Directorate to accomplish its multiple missions. Charlotte is also an attorney and is licensed to practice in the state of Ohio.
