
In his current role, Craig is responsible for enterprise policy development, analysis, and implementation. His team supports the development and implementation of enterprise governance programs.
Prior to his service at the Veterans Administration, he held several other executive positions during his 23 years of federal service. Other positions he has served in include Deputy Director of Administrative Management at the NIH, within the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute; Deputy Director at the Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences; Deputy
Assistant Secretary and Budget Director at the U.S. Department of Education.
Beyond his service in the federal government, Mr. Stanton is also an ICF Master Certified Coach and has served in adjunct faculty roles at several universities including Georgetown, Rutgers, and American. In this capacity, he provided training in basic and advanced coaching skills to adult learners. He also served as the Director of Assessment for the Executive Leadership Coaching Program at Georgetown’s Institute for Transformational Leadership.
When he is not at work, he spends most of his time with family – including two children, his wife, and two Corgi dogs
