On June 30, 2024, Jennifer Lipshultz was appointed as the Deputy Chief of Staff, Strategic Planning and Analysis, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA). In this position, she serves as the Deputy to the Chief of Staff and as an advisor to the Under Secretary for Benefits and the Principal Deputy Under Secretary for Benefits (PDUSB) on identifying, developing, and implementing VBA and department-wide policies, programs, and internal management and operations of VBA.
Prior to this appointment, she served as the Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff and PDUSB. In this position, she served as a trusted advisor and assisted with oversight, strategic planning, technical operations, and development of policy, procedures, regulations, and processes for VBA’s business lines and staff offices.
Jennifer has served in VA for over 15 years in various positions within VBA. She has extensive experience in initiating and completing studies, projects and contract management, data analytics, and managing issues of a broad perspective that are focused on the benefits, programs, and services provided by VBA and on internal processes that result in continuous improvements that promote the effective and efficient delivery of VBA’s products.
