Kenneth (Ken) Wagner has been serving as the Director of Policy Management and Analysis within the Office of Enterprise Integration (OEI) since March 2017. In January 2022, he assumed the duties of Acting Executive Director, Office of Enterprise Policy and Governance, OEI, where he leads the Department’s policy management and enterprise governance capabilities to support the Secretary and VA senior leadership.

Previously, Mr. Wagner held other senior executive posts in VA, to include Director, Office of Corporate Analysis and Evaluation and the National Center for Veterans Analysis and Statistics.

Before entering the Senior Executive Service in October 2011, Ken was the Chief of Predictive Analysis for U.S. Southern Command and Chief of the Office of Operations Research for U.S. European Command.

The son of an Air Force officer and grandson of a Naval officer, Mr. Wagner enlisted in the Army in 1981 and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, serving tours in the active Army, Drilling Reserve and mobilized Army Reserve. His combined government service spans over 40 years.

Mr. Ken Wagner graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Management in 1980 and completed his Master’s degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California in 1986. He is a graduate of the Air War College, the Army Command and General Staff College, and is an Eagle Scout. He is married to the former Barbara Eppihimer and they are the proud parents of 5 children and 7 grandchildren.
