OALC Chief of Staff

Mr. Samuel Robinson serves as senior advisor and strategist to the Principal Executive Director/Chief Acquisition Officer in the Office of Acquisition, Logistics and Construction (OALC). OALC is a multifunctional organization responsible for directing the acquisition, logistics, construction, and leasing functions within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Mr. Robinson’s other duties including overseeing operation of the front office staff and serving as liaison and representative of the Principal Executive Director within and outside the agency.

Mr. Robinson is a Veterans Affairs professional with over 15 years of diverse experience in OALC where he served as the Action Officer across multiple lines of business, including strategic workforce planning, succession planning, risk management and internal controls, budget planning, human resources, and strategic planning. He also served as the Staff Assistant to the Principal Executive Director. Before joining OALC, Sam served in VA’s Office of the Secretary, Office of Survivors Assistance.

He is a retired Army non-commissioned officer and hails from Dallas, Texas.
