About the Schools

Acquisitions Internship
The award-winning Acquisition Internship School (AIS) offers two training programs for those with an interest in pursuing a career in federal acquisitions.

Contracting Professional
The Contracting Professional School (CPS) provides the VA acquisition workforce with the fundamental courses necessary to obtain the Office of Federal Procurement Policy’s (OFPP) Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) (Professional).

Program Management
The Program Management School was created to address the development requirements from the Office of Management and Budget mandate to certify all federal government program and project managers.

Supply Chain Mangement
The VA Acquisition Academy (VAAA) Supply Chain Management School’s (SCMS) global vision is to create an innovative and superior quality academic environment that is the supply chain school of choice for the VA and other federal government agencies.
