Human Resources Service Center

The Human Resources Service Center (HRSC) provides a full range of human resource products and services to VACO Staff Offices, supporting a workforce of approximately 19,000. The primary purpose of the HRSC is to ensure that VACO Staff Offices have a skilled workforce to support Veterans and their families. The HRSC recognizes employees are VA’s most critical asset in achieving organizational high performance. The work is performed through several components of HRSC including HR Operations, HR Compliance, Strategy and Development, and the HRSC Business Operations. The HRSC is an innovation hub for all things HR, advancing new technologies and developing new forward-thinking processes. Furthermore, the HRSC ensures oversight and effectiveness of Staff Office HR personnel performing under delegations of authority.
