Background: Recent changes to FAR parts and EOs have led to the rescission of certain policy flashes. As the Administration implements its policy priorities and strategic direction, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has undertaken a comprehensive review of the published Acquisition Policy Flashes. This review ensures that VA’s acquisition policies remain aligned with current Federal regulatory frameworks and reflect the evolving priorities of the Administration. The rescission of outdated or superseded policy flashes facilitates a streamlined and updated acquisition process, supporting VA’s mission to effectively serve Veterans and fulfill its procurement responsibilities.

Applicability: This notice applies to all contracting activities.
