Business Operations

Emily Prohaska, Acting Division Director

Business Operations is responsible for implementing organizational strategy and the operations necessary to execute governance, stakeholder engagement, acquisition, budget, and front office operations to achieve CEHRIS mission objectives.

Activities include developing strong VA change management and stakeholder engagement strategies for better user adoption of new enterprise-wide Human Capital capabilities.

Human Capital Information Systems

Robert J. Bennett, Acting Division Director

Human Capital Information Systems (HCIS) is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of VA Human Capital enterprise systems development. HCIS delivers and maintains full-spectrum employee lifecycle technology to the VA enterprise, leveraging the OPM Human Capital Business Reference Model.

Activities include full lifecycle product management of enterprise-wide Human Capital systems and modernization.

Human Resources/Payroll Integration and Customer Support Services

Roy W. Coles, Jr, Division Director

HR/Payroll Integration and Customer Support Services oversees the maintenance of VA’s core Human Resources Information System; works to identify automated solutions and uniform business processes designed to reduce inaccuracies in salary, benefits, and entitlements for all VA employees; and, lastly, supports VA-wide enterprise Human Capital data reporting.

Knowledge Management and Analytics

Travis Young, Division Director

Knowledge Management and Analytics is responsible for supporting the digital framework for systematic and secure capturing, sharing and management of knowledge and information utilized by CEHRIS stakeholders.

Activities include developing and maintaining websites, SharePoint sites, and Human Capital business intelligence solutions.
